Orangevale Townhomes

OV was acquired and renovated in 1998, under the LIHTC program.  Orangevale is located at the northwest corner of Shaffer Street and Katella Road in the City of Orange. It is surrounded by similarly sized multifamily developments and a variety of commercial properties along Katella. The apartments are well located on a 4.1 acre parcel and consist of 64 units in 16 four-plex buildings.  Two of the building are one story, while the remaining 14 buildings are two-story.  All apartments in the two-story buildings are townhouses. The property contain 56 two-bedroom units of 1,100 square feet and 8 three-bedroom units of 1,200 square feet.  Garage buildings are located around the project perimeter; one garage space and one open space are provided for each unit. Common areas include a large greenbelt area, swimming pool, and a freestanding recreation building containing the rental office, and laundry facilities.
